Chattering Lory is one of my favourites. There was a friendly chattering lory at a local bird park. Sadly she died this summer.
 
 
 

Rainbow Lorikeets I always wanted to feed them on me, as sometimes seen on the TV. This dream came true.
 
 

St Vincent Amazon You can see them only here in Paradise Park, in Jersey Zoo and St Vincent Island. Their interesting colour are not shown here due to the backlit situation. These two were so friendly that they nibbled a leaflet in my hand.

Thick-billed Parrot They look similar to medium sized macaws. Beautiful birds. We couldn't go near to the fence to take clearer pictures.

Golden Conure or Queen of Bavaria conure This is a juvenile who still has green feathers on the head. Stunning colour. There was an adult we saw in a display aviary.
